PPC Vault App

The PPC Vault App is a new way to install apps on your Windows Mobile devices and the focus of this project.

Apps are sourced through static repositories, and users are free to choose or create their own.

PPC Vault aims to host the largest and highest quality repository.

Requirements

Installation

1. Download the app .cab or .exe from the Downloads page.
2. Copy to your PDA via ActiveSync, SD, or CF.
3. Open the app (from the programs menu if .cab install or run the .exe from file explorer).
4. Press the Repositories button.
5. Add http://repo.ppcvault.org for curated and tested apps and http://beta.ppcvault.org for much more untested and user-submitted apps.
6. Leave the Repositories page, then press settings. Most Windows Mobile apps are backwards compatible, so if you're running Windows Mobile 5, you should keep 2003 selected, etc. I also recommend turning on automatic app installation, so you don't have to leave PPC Vault to install them.
